For Families

How Cherish Can Support Your Family

At Cherish, we know that raising a family can be challenging at times. Whether you’re facing practical difficulties, feeling isolated, or just needing a little extra help, we’re here to walk alongside you. Our goal is to help families like yours thrive in supportive, caring communities.

What We Offer

A Listening Ear

Sometimes, all you need is someone to talk to. Our Cherish Co-ordinator is here to listen, understand your situation, and help you explore the options available to support your family. Together, we’ll work out the next steps to make life a little easier for you.

Practical Support

We can connect you with local resources to meet your needs, whether it’s advice on finances, parenting support, or access to community services. If something isn’t available locally, we’ll do our best to fill the gap by working with our network of volunteers and partner organisations.

A Caring Community

Through our partnership with local churches, schools, and volunteers, we can provide hands-on support tailored to your family’s unique circumstances. This could include:

• Help with day-to-day tasks like shopping or errands.

• Someone to babysit so you can take a much-needed break.

• Opportunities to connect with others in your community through events or support groups.
